Samsung S20 Autofocus Issues

Samsung recently launched their latest S20 series. The S20 series was a major improvement on the S10 series boasting a massive 108-megapixel camera. The only issue was the autofocus software which consumers say doesn’t work properly.

Samsung have release multiple software fixes and patches to solve the autofocus. Some consumers are still having issues with the S20 Ultra which struggles to focus automatically on subjects which are closer than 10cm.

Samsung have solved this issue on the Note 20+. The have added a new sensor to assist with the autofocusing which appears to have completely resolved the issue.

Note 20+ Will Have no Issues

Ice Universe, a well-known online leaker tweeted this.

Samsung will be releasing the Note 20 series in Q4, expected in August 2020 but this may change due to Covid19 restrictions. Usually we have the all singing and dancing release with thousands of journalists packing the event. Due to Covid19 this may be a solely online video release via Samsung’s YouTube channel.

Note 20+ Expected Specifications

The standard Note 20 will have a 6.42-inch display with the Note 20 Plus featuring a 6.87-inch display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate.

They have not stated which chipset will be used yet but we expect they will use either the Exynos 992 which is Samsung’s own chipset. The alternative would be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor. Both devices are expected to have a minimum of 12GB of RAM. This makes it the perfect device for mobile gamers.

Samsung Note 20 Series Expected Pricing

Samsung have not released a price, but we can make some assumptions. We expect the prices to be around $1049 for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ with the standard Note 20 to cost around $949. This estimation is based on the previous prices of the Note 10 series upon release.
