Three SIM-Only Deals
A SIM-only contract is just that. No phone or tablet to pay towards, just a SIM card with all the data, minutes and texts you need. Customers even get to decide whether they want a Pay Monthly SIM Only deal or a Pay As You Go plan.
Three SIM only pay monthly plans start at 1 month rolling, 12 months or 24 months. Alternatively, you can select PAYG and pay nothing upfront, top-up the SIM card as and when you need it.
The best thing about Three SIM only is that all SIM cards are 5G ready at no extra cost to the customer. This means that if you currently live in a 5G enabled area, you can benefit from it immediately. If you are not in an enabled area, as soon as it switches over, so will your Three SIM card.
The most important thing to check before you decide to look at upgrading is to make sure all of your bills are up to date and you don’t owe any money on your account.
If you are a Three pay monthly customer you can choose to upgrade your handset for free up to 45 days before your plan ends. You can also choose to upgrade earlier than this but you will be liable to pay an early upgrade fee.
For Pay as You Go customers you can upgrade at any time as you are not tied into any sort of contract.
Rolling 1 month SIM customers can upgrade after an initial 3 month period.
The fastest way to upgrade is to do it through the My3 app which holds all of your current contract information. Alternatively, there are 311 stores countrywide that can assist you.
Once you have decided to upgrade your handset you can then make a little something back off your old handset or tablet. Choose to trade in your phone and Three will pay you the same day. That way if you are looking for a new phone or tablet you can slash the upfront cost there and then.

From October, Three offers new and existing customers the chance to register their interest and be the first to hear about all the latest Black Friday deals. Three don’t like to give any indication to what deals are likely to appear on Black Friday but you can expect to see some 5G deals and well as flagship handset offers.
